Dirty solar panels are a quiet drain on your investment. Dust, pollen, bird droppings, and the buildup common across San Diego County can reduce your panels' energy output by 15-30% — meaning your system is working harder for less power, and your electric bill shows it. GoldCoast helps San Diego homeowners keep their solar systems performing the way they were designed to.

How We Do It

We clean using professional water-fed pole technology, working entirely from the ground — no walking on your roof, no unnecessary risk to your panels or your property. Every panel is cleaned with purified, deionized water run through a multi-stage filtration system, so there's no mineral residue left behind to cause its own shading or spotting. Regular tap water can actually leave hard water deposits on panels, which is the opposite of what you're paying for — we avoid that entirely.

As we clean, we also do a visual check for any early signs of damage — cracked cells, discoloration, or loose mounting hardware — and let you know if we spot anything, so you can follow up with your installer before a small issue affects your system's performance or warranty.

Why This Service Is Worth It

Restores lost energy output. A proper cleaning can recover a meaningful share of the efficiency lost to dust and grime buildup.

Protects your investment. Solar systems are expensive. Keeping panels clean is one of the simplest ways to make sure you're getting the return you paid for.

Extends system life. Debris and buildup left unaddressed can contribute to long-term wear — regular cleaning helps your system last.

Peace of mind. A quick visual inspection with every visit means small issues get caught early, before they turn into costly ones.
